Part-Time Pet Treat Production Assistant
Just Paws and Enjoy Life is a woman-owned, small-batch treat business in Parkersburg, West Virginia. We make all-natural, single-ingredient treats for dogs and cats, including freeze-dried and dehydrated products, and every batch is made by hand. If we would not feed it to our own dogs and cats, it does not go in the bag.
We are looking for someone to help with the preparation and production of our treats. This is hands-on work in a real kitchen, and it is a great fit for someone who takes pride in doing a good job and wants to be part of a small, growing business. The right person could have the opportunity for additional hours as our business continues to grow.
What the Work Looks Like
What You Will Do
- Cut and prepare meat for dog and cat treats
- Trim and portion meat to product specifications
- Prepare products for freezing, dehydrating, or freeze-drying
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly handle and store raw meat
- Package and label products as needed
- Help with other production tasks as we grow
